This is the greatest counter oven!

I have a total of three countertop ovens. I have a very small one that is perfect for only 4 biscuits. I needed one that would fit a Bundt pan so I bought a larger one (and it's a namebrand one). It has never really heated quickly or even baked correctly. So, I bit the bullet and purchased this KitchenAid. Im so glad I did. It preheats in an instant and the baking is spot on. Love love love this KitchenAid. I have had the KitchenAid stand mixer for quite a few years and it is a perfect asset to any kitchen.
Sleek look

This is the best thing since slice bread. Really!! I had a toaster oven and didn't know what I was missing until I brought this convection oven. I baked lots of food in this oven and have not experience hot spots, no burning, just golden delicious food. Cooks very well. The smart digital interface is very easy to use and I like the look and style (stainless). Thanks guys for developing a great appliance. I love this and all my other kitchenAid things I have in my kitchen. # 1 fan!

This oven is both dangerous and frustrating. The danger derives from the fact that there is not an effective stop mechanism on the wire shelf upon which you place food. So, when your check or want to remove your hot food and pull out the shelf half way, it very easily goes beyond the stop, tilts downward, and then your hot food slides right off the shelf, either onto you or the floor. I sustained a nasty burn this evening trying to catch the round pan that slid right off. THIS IS A HUGE DESIGN FLAW and is the last straw. The other HUGE problem involves the preheat. Unlike all the previous toaster ovens I've owned, you cannot just put the food in and turn it on. This machine requires you to preheat it, which takes a long time, and then you have to be standing around waiting to press start after it beeps, or else the machine will turn itself off and you have to start again. You cannot even "cheat" by putting the food in while it preheats (per the directions), because it will just keep preheating til kingdom come, without ever reaching the temp you've set. I've put up with this machine for about 6 months, and will be packing it up and sending it back to Kitchenaid, where I hope they'll stick it in their employee lunchroom so admin can hear the howls. A true piece of junk, second only to the built in ss refrig we paid over $6000 for., which used faulty capacitors from China and then discontinued making replacement parts after only 5 years!!
Great oven, easy to use & clean
