Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

disappointed

Pegster 10/26/2019

My cooktop was delivered 11/11/17. In the past 2 months it has become increasingly difficult to turn the cooktop on. We have resorted to flipping the breaker, waiting 10 minutes and attempting to turn it on. We have resorted to warming our finger in hot water and placing it on the on/off switch. That worked for awhile. Today, nothing seems to work and I am having a dinner party, or not, because I need 2 burners at least on my stove. It is Sat. and I will call and schedule a service call. This sucks.

Can't turn on

JBabbs 10/17/2019

After two years of use, the on/off touch pad works only very intermittently. Will require a service call.

on/off control works only when it wants to

JTathome 9/23/2019

Purchased in March 2107 for last three weeks the on off sensor works only when it is inclined to do so. Out of warranty so it would appear I amgoing to have to replace the unit very disappointing. Last Bosch i can justify. There ought to be a recall. JTC sept 23 2019

Cook Top touch control failure

Mr C 6/17/2019

Purchased a 36" Bosch "Benchmark" electric cook top PN: NETP668SUC (S/N 00007) for our newly constructed home. We moved in the 2nd week of Jan 2018. In March of 2019 we began having problems turning the unit on and off. 2 months later it became impossible to turn the cook top off using the on/off touch control switch. The only way to turn it off is to set all heating element settings to "zero" and wait for the unit to shut itself off. As for turning the cook top on, we're now relegated to killing the 240V power feed at the breaker box, wait 10-15 mins for the cook top to de-energize, then reengage the breaker and pray the on/off touch control acknowledges our finger touch command. Sometimes this works, other times you can press and hold the button of 5 mins straight and nothing happens. Extremely annoying…. We now find ourselves planning out meal options that don't require a stove because we have no confidence the cook top turn on. So after spending over $1,400 on a so-called "top-of-the-line" appliance we find ourselves intermittently standing outside heating our meals on a portable $36 Coleman propane burner. NOTE: At the time of this review 30% (3 out of the 10) of the reviews on Bosch's website were complaints about on/off touch control failures, and all of the failures seem to magically occur just after the after the standard warranty had expired. We purchased an extended warranty for the cook top and the Bosch Benchmark double oven we also purchased. We filed a claim with the warranty company to get the unit repaired and are still waiting for parts and personnel to show up to make the unit functional. The replacement control board cost $190. Hopefully we won't have to be replacing it every year and a half. Really disappointed in the quality of this unit.

Inferior Product

Mike 4/4/2019

After 13 months of everyday use, the touchscreen controls became more and more unresponsive, specifically the on/off position. Finally, it stopped working altogether... one month out of warranty. It's a $400 repair to replace the main circuit board, which is what I was told it would require. I was warned by a salesperson that this was a common problem, but blindly accepted the trust of Bosch as my previous Bosch dishwasher lasted 20 years.

On/Off switch died after about 1.5 years

Dave 2/7/2019

This is the fourth kitchen we remodeled, and have never had a problem with any appliance other than one microwave and this cooktop. We bought this $1400 cooktop for the Bosch name, and bridge burner for griddles. Had it for shortly longer than the one year warranty period and the On/Off button on the control panel stopped working. I will purchase the $200 part and install it myself, but to have it repaired would probably cost over $500.

The power on off does not work, it is damaged the glass. The glass costs almost the same as a new one. I had to buy a new one I was happy with the cooktop

Truly amazing cooktop

dixieroadfinder 4/5/2018

We purchased our new Benchmark cooktop in November 2017. It's been truly amazing. The features on this cooktop, especially the Power Start feature, continues to impress us. It's very easy to clean (no buttons or knobs), heats quickly, and maintains a consistent temperature throughout the cooking process.

Great Look in Island

The cook top has a clean look but also has great features. Good response on touch controls, and it's not too sensitive.

Love the Features!

GANDJ 11/14/2017

We had an older similar BOSCH cooktop for nearly 8 years, but we think the circuitry somehow got fried when we had a power outage from Hurricane Irma. It still worked, but sporadically. So we decided to replace it with this model because I wanted to have the 3 size burner center option and the other features - and it fit the existing cutout. We were able to remove the old one and install the new one in less than 2 hrs. Back cooking on all burners now!

Bosch Electric Cooktop

PatS 4/1/2017

I bought this cooktop a month ago and it is fantastic. It has some wonderful features such as the Autocook, panel lock, kitchen timer, cook timer and count up timer. Also I like the additional cooking feature which allows you to cook based on the size pan you are using. I would highly recommend this cooktop.

Great Features

Della1 12/29/2016

Wow! My first new electric cooktop in 24 years. I am so excited with all the new features this cooktop has. I'm still exploring what it can do since it was only installed 3 days ago. Some of the great features I've tried are the many temperature setting ( 0 - 9 with 1/2 settings in between each numbered setting) ; the burner with 3 multiple rings for various size pans and a 2 ring burner too; melt temperature for melting butter without fear of it burning; power start for quickly bringing a pot to the temperature I want it to cook at; and the keep warm setting so all the food gets served warm. I still have to experiment with Auto Chef and the timers and the wonderful bridge burner feature. I love the fact there are no knobs to work around or to get dirty. This new model is a wonderful addition to my kitchen and I know I will be exploring it's features for weeks to come.

I purchased this stovetop about a month ago. It works wonderfully. I love the power start feature. Also, the controls are very easy to use. I would definitely recommend it.
